Mr. Christofer Mowry

General Fusion

Mr. Mowry has more than 30 years of global executive leadership experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He serves as Chief Executive Officer at General Fusion. He was most recently Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of General Synfuels International, Inc. (2015-2017). Prior to GSI, he was the Founder and CEO of Generation mPower (2011-2014). Between 2008 and 2011, he was President of B&W Nuclear Energy, a division of The Babcock & Wilcox Company. Before joining B&W, he was the President and Chief Operating Officer of WSI (2005-2008), spent 5 years with GE Energy in various management roles (1999-2000, and began his career with the Philadelphia Electric Company. Mr. Mowry’s career is the proof of how far clean energy has come; especially, he is an advocate for nuclear fusion technology - he has been working on developing clean, safe sustainable energy. Throughout his career in the global energy industry, he has helped expanding nuclear energy technology for next generation, improving energy efficiency and economic competitivity, reducing environmental impact from oil and natural gas, and transforming the world’s energy supply system. His goal at General Fusion is to advance the Canadian energy company’s transition from cutting-edge lab-scale research to engineering the development of a world-changing integrated prototype reactor. Mr. Mowry graduated from Swarthmore College with two Bachelor’s degrees - Astronomy and Engineering in 1984. He also earned a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University in 1989.
